USCIS provides details on EB3 Retrogress |

Workers/professionals) visa numbers for India, mainland China, and Philippines will retrogress as on January 1, 2005.
The EB3 numbers for nationals of the listed countries will retrogress to January 1, 2002.

- 485 Filing Deadline for Indians/Chinese/Filippinos: 12/30/2004, "Not 12/31/2004"
USCIS has announced that I-485 applications by those who face EB-3 visa retrogression should be "physically received" by the Service Centers "on or before" December 30, 2004. December 30, 2004 is the last day because the USCIS will remain closed on December 31, 2004
- USCIS will keep issuing EAD and Advance Parole for these who filed I-485 before December 30, 2004 and whose I-485 applications will have to remain on hold until visa number becomes available.
