They scaled unattainable heights,
When they climbed up those snowy peaks,
With gun barrels looking down their throats.
They crossed over to the other world,
When they surged forward,
Knowing that death is imminent.
Sons, husbands and fathers,
Meeting an untimely death.
All because they took an oath
To protect their nation's borders.
Our homes are safe,
And our beds are warm.
Our eyes are dry
Drained of all tears.
No dictionary can provide words
To describe your martyrdom.
We owe our lives to you.
Your Motherland salutes you…
